Lost the but that goes in the battery terminal. Where can I find a replacement and what is cheap remedy until then?

Re: Battery nut
I really hate those things. There has to be a better way to secure them on there. Might glue some plastic to keep it from coming out

A dab of blue Loctite works wonders in these situations.

Re: Battery nut
Doesn't it have to move?
Re: Battery nut
I might have misunderstood your issue, if it's the nut you're having issues with staying snug, some blue loctite is the answer.

Re: Battery nut
Any nut that's the right tread and length will do. As long as it's tightened correctly there should be no need for thread locker. It's only to keep the wire on the terminal. It's better to be a clean thread as this gives a better connection.
