There's the option of mounting a Ram ball in the "false" mirror mounts, probably the r/h side is best for space. A central location would be better and I guess that's what you're planning with your modification?

Where are the "false" mirror mounts ?? the one on the photo?
Looks the are made from Plastic.

I have used this original Givi mount https://www.forza125shop.com/en/comfort ... g-kit.html .
Since I've installed my termoscud PRO, I am using their system to mount my smartphone/GPS.
My Givi mount+ optional smartphone bag is now for sale if you are interested.
Let me know.

Those are just dummy inserts. Remove them and you have a normal threaded hole to screw in your Ram..
Really, That's cool Oldie! How does one know that, does it mention those phonies in the owners manual, or You know that from probing around? I dig Bonus' like that!

There seems too be different threaded mounts..What is normal??
What I did was I took the plastic insert to the hardware store, tried out which nut fits it and then chose the screw that fits that nut.
The thread is really not "normal" but, what we call a "fine thread" and it is a right thread.
The new screw has to be a bit longer then the plastic one.

I've only done it on the left one. It's easy to find out. All you need is a regular screwdriver. If it's left, it's left. If it's right, it's right. It's simple as that.

Received my ram mount today and it fits.
( RAM-B-349U )
However there is very little space left. The right side has more space.
Bit of a shame really because of the 12 v plug .
I have a PCX so this may not apply to the Forza, but I found out that RAM has some brake reservoir covers that fit my particular year, so that is where my mount is. I actually used one that worked on my Burgman 400. Maybe you can measure the cover and look for one with the same dimensions.
