Re: ACF-50 review

So what did you do? Spray it all over? No, I didn't tear down the Buell so there are many places that did not get treated. I agree with Fish about doing this when a motorbike is new and then once a year or so depending on exposure if you want excellence. Ideally I should have done this as I restore...

Re: ACF-50 review

used ACF on my offshore fishing boat A few years ago. It worked fine. But I found it was cheaper, easier and just as effective to use CRC 656 by the gallon.lasted as long, protected just as well. CRC is half the cost. https://www.amazon.com/CRC-Industries-06007-Multi-Purpose-Lubricant/dp/B000M8Q02M/...

ACF-50 review

ACF-50.jpg I wanted to give my opinion on this product. First it's marketed to protect against corrosion both preventive and existing. Safe to use on all metals, plastic, electronics, switches, whatever you need. Rain, salt spray or damp humid conditions the naturally corrosive elements of time wil...

Re: Horn Mod... accessibility

Homie, THANK YOU. This is awesome. :D It was fun and no harm done to wiring or cosmetics... easily reversed. I was out all evening riding and never once used the horn unintentionally so that's what I wanted to know. I'll keep it ;) but you will never see something like this on motorbikes. Like the ...

Horn Mod... accessibility

For the archives and future searches here is a crude but surprisingly useful EXTRA horn modification for quicker, easier access. The existing horn will not be disabled 8) Tools; allen wrench, cross tip screwdriver Parts; switch, wire, connectors, heat shrink or electrical tape. Degree of difficulty;...

Re: Mod my horn for easier reach

Hey I like the little switch (3m'ed) to the lever! You're already on the brake in the heat of the moment where you should be. Index finger is better than reaching across with thumb. Now I just need to wire it so the OEM horn button still works which means going right down the column to the horn itse...

Re: Mod my horn for easier reach

Could not find a pressure switch but I find this at the hardware store. Not ideal over the above idea but still has a more natural access then thumbing across the handlebars for the horn when you need it. Thanks for the fun today, now what can we do for kicks and giggles on my channel? u47o3D2DKxE

Re: Mod my horn for easier reach

horn.jpg I think i've designed this fix for you guys before. Stick this type of pressure switch under the left housing and wire it to the horn. Simply use your left thumb knuckle to press the switch... never miss a chance to blow your horn again 8) Somebody help me find this switch in 12v and in th...

Re: Mod my horn for easier reach

I pasted it, not real, just messing with ya By the time I find the horn on my bikes the reason i needed it has passed. Best just focus on the threat and forgive the oblivious. I always thought a healthy squeeze on the left grip would be an excellent invention for bikers concerning the horn. Now go m...

Re: How to uninstall seat on 2018 PCX

Take about 2 minutes to see if the two bolt will fit the 4 bolt setup. Let us know I doubt it, but I will do it this weekend just to be sure. I will report back. I'm truly sorry you have a seat for a pre-LED PCX. This is what happens as time takes its toll on those who knew but lend to younger empl...
