Re: Today's Quick Pic
Ay (or aye), "I" did entertain that thought, but quickly dismissed it. Why should "moi" take the blame? ;) By the by, does anyone See anything odd in this photo besides vacancy? :D Your profile says you're in NY. Am I seeing right? You scooter doesn't have turn signal stal...

Re: Broken Throttle Cable
So you think the lock assembly needs replacement or is it just the key binding up in keyhole and not turning?Perhaps a bit of "lock ease" (put on the key itself before inserting into keyhole would lube inner parts & do the trick? Just a little goes a long way to loosen key lock mechan...

Here in the US our choice of color is Red or Black. The white would be a nice choice but I really like your matte black. Makes it look like a mean machine.

Re: Broken Throttle Cable
I'm always worried about a breakdown especially when you're a good distance away from home or help. My PCX is new and doesn't worry me too much but I do have to get my ignition switch repaired since, at times, I can't get the key to turn. After a little wiggling around it's OK but I'm waiting for th...

Re: Honda Pcx 125 from cornwall :D
Here in Utah they have a graded system. If you test on a 250cc or less, that's what you're limited to. You can't go out and buy a big bike unless you retest on it and pass. It's a pretty good way to stop people from buying more than they can handle.

Sturgis
I'm posting this in rides and events since it is a question about Sturgis. Sturgis hosts a huge motorcycle rally every year and I was just wondering if any of you with a scooter have ever gone there with a scooter or had the balls to do it. Would you get run out of town or what? Are there any large ...

That's freakin amazing. Talk about a dumb thief. The guys probably on drugs and has no idea what he's done. Your insurance should hopefully cover repairs. That's truly a happy ending to what started out as a shitty story. Really good you got it back!!!

Re: Kids..
I mentioned to a friend that the PCX has a strap so a helmet can be hung from under the seat. He laughed and said he wouldn't want to do that because some kid would come by and piss in it. Funny, but I can see that happening.

Good point gn re: tax. Thanks very much Mel46 and uploader - exactly what I needed. Rebrab I'm afraid I am attached to red, went to some lengths to get a good one as I wanted it to match my cage and my pedal bike, I must get a photo of the red line up some time. I've been obsessed with red vehicles...

Re: Waxed scooter question
I've driven mostly cars as long as I've had a license and it's been a while. Over the years I've seen many cars that have been poorly maintained, dirty, inside filled with empty cans and food wrappers. I know everyone has a different idea of how to care for things but, if I'm paying for anything, I ...

Re: Just put down a payment on a PCX150!
Here is a little bit of knowledge that I had to pass on to my wife when she started riding her PCX. As stated previously, the turn signal is not self canceling. Most motor cycles aren't either. But what my wife did not know is that to cancel the turn signal all you have to do is press the button in...

Re: Convincing my mom
I get a little upset when I tell somebody I bought a scooter and right away they think I had a DUI. I know in some states they allow the use of a scooter (up to a certain size) but why assume anybody that has one is a drunk? In my state you need a license, registration and insurance. Also, anybody w...

Did that in my car once when I was living in Germany. Roared right by the gas station on the autobahn and no way to turn around. Never made it to my exit and coasted to a stop on the highway. Fortunately, many Germans carried extra gas and I was able to buy some from a passing motorist. NEVER did th...

PCX Models
Maybe maddiedog can answer this question. I'm curious about the different PCX models. The forum (on the very top of the page) says information for the 2011-2013 Honda PCX 125, Honda PCX ESP and Honda PCX 150. Where does the ESP fit in? Mine is a PCX 150 and the side also says ESP. Or is that 3 speci...

Re: Convincing my mom
The cost of the MSF course can vary quite a bit. I paid $150. I had my PCX at the time and used it for the course. They did provide motorcycles (no scooters) and were a variety of makes/models. As motorcycles, they were not automatic and a good part of the class involved clutch and shift control. Ot...

Way to go. I never like to go out in bad weather. Right now it gets up over 100 here and you feel like your in a pressure cooker. Trying to ride with the right gear on is impossible.

Re: Bike Maintenance
I've never removed and replaced the coil spring since my PCX is fairly new and it functions fine. I didn't feel like crawling around on the floor of my garage to check but, if you put the stand in the up position (bike on the side stand) wouldn't that stretch the spring? If it is stretched, you coul...
