I am going to drop the upper bolt tomorrow and see if any oil drains out while it's on the center stand. Torque the bolt back to 17 ft pounds and go for a ride to the city lake and back home. 6 miles give or take and then see if there is any oil seeping or dripping.
Thanks Homie!

Oil leak on rear housing and tire.
I have a 2017 PCX and just noticed this oil leak drip on the rear axle. I hadn't noticed it before yesterday so I took a picture last night and maybe someone could shed a little light on where it might be coming from. It has about 100 miles on it and has spread to the inside of the rear wheel but th...

Re: Trunk box for 2017
Thanks for the link....why are they so much cheaper than the Honda one? Are you just paying for the Honda name? You'll also need to pay for the mounting rack... http://www.giviusa.com/my-motorcycle/honda/pcx150-12-13/sr1136-monolock-specific-rack-detail And the Honda folks install it if you buy fro...

Scott, I don't mean to hijack your thread but what trunk box do you have? Will it hold a full face helmet? It looks good on your ride. By the way the tape stripping also looks great!

Re: Tire Change Charge
I just happened to notice a sign at the dealership when picking up my new PCX. Sign posted on the wall, tire change prices, $15 if just wheel, $45 if still mounted to motorcycle/scooter. This is in the Midwest, Missouri in Lee's Summit.
Hope this answers your question.

Re: Out the door prices 2017
I see a problem. The two 'beasts' will be fighting for front space in your corral. You say that you will keep the Metro for doing the runs for dog food, etc. ...? Well, I am betting the PCX will take that job away from the Metro in no time. Put a Givi tailbox on the PCX and it will be ready to comp...

Re: Push start
I haven't had any problems since it is new. I know things happen but keeping my fingers crossed for no problems. I know you cannot push start an automatic transmission car but I didn't know if you were to coast down a hill, for instance if the variator would catch the belt to turn the engine. My old...

I have been looking at the HJC IS Modular II helmet and wondered if it would fit under the seat. I guess I will have to use the security strap so I better keep it handy.

Re: Windshield
I am 6ft and fairly long waisted. I think the Honda tall windshield would be perfect for you. It's a little short for me as I get a lot of wind noise under my full face helmet unless a mostly full tuck takes place. Curious to see what you think of it! I finally got the new ride home and have gotten...

I just picked up my 2017, and I got 2 keys and the metal tag. Someone posted they did get an owner's manual with theirs but I made a point to ask about it and they gave me one along with the keys. By the way, white is the color. I'll see if I can post a picture in another post.

Re: Windshield
Just wondering about the factory windshield from Honda. I know that there are others out there but this was part of the deal for my new pcx. I am short 5-5 so a taller windshield would not do any good as far as I can tell. Thoughts? Have you tried it yourself? What do you think of it? I will try it...
