YouYou, I think WN means he can't see the diff between oil screen access fittings that chickaboo mentions as "a better one". I know what he is saying because when I went looking for the GY6 screen kits I noticed variations too. The flats are wider on some kits but the drive is smaller on others. A good one to me would have the healthiest drive nut... that's all.you you wrote:Just below the rear brake cable bracket it says 149 cm3WhiteNoise wrote:Heh chicaboo, why do you say that? Yep, Homie got it. The nut on MayHem's scoot is deeper and squarer so it's easier and safer to remove.

Re: New member to the family
Ok so went for a ride today with meon the 2015 white and the wife on the 2012 red. Could not believe how much quicker the red pulls away from low speeds and right through to the top which confirmed my suspicions the 2015 is much slower. Mind you my wife is just under 30kgs lighter the difference in acceleration was astounding and I don't believe the weight had a great effect on it. We didn't swap as the white is unregistered and I didn't want her to get caught on it for my pleasure. So I thought the later models just had less top end speed due to a gearing change but it appears to be right the way through.
Maybe I have to do a full motor swap on them before I sell the red one lol..
