when pcx is ideling

I am new at the PCX only one week, one thing i noticed today, when the bike is idleing at a stop light or when i start it up at home, is that when i apply the rear brake it idles smoother. i let the brake go it changes the idle, i apply the rear brake the idle smooths out. puzzled

Hitting the brake engages the brake lights which might cause idle pitch to chg.....its a draw.....

Yeah, I've noticed that, too. It's the load from pulling the rear brake cable applied to the motor-swing-arm assembly.

Interesting. If you would, subjectively evaluate the idle quality once warmed up. Then, squeeze the rear brakes moderately and see if it idles noticeably smoother? I don't know anyone with a '15 to try.
I'm wondering if Honda changed the durometer of the rubber in the mountings.

Mine does this and it makes some sense.

The rear drum brake is attached to the same aluminium block as your engine, so applying the rear brake essentially clamps the rear shoes onto the whole rear hub, and thus the vibration throughout changes.

The piston moves backwards and forwards and shakes everything backwards and forwards.
With the front brake applied there is probably enough flex in the forks to allow the fore and aft movement to continue.
