I've been using the 20g sliders/15g rollers since you recommended them... they work great
especially like them uphill(steep)... 55mph full throttle(stock) now 61mph
please let us know if the "2418"s are better
It's interesting to note that one of my local test points is a steep 1/4 mile uphill grade.
I stop at the bottom, accelerate hard and check my speed at the top.....
I get about the same results as you.....55mph max stock, 62 mph w/ mixed weights!
Ed in these mix set up:
3 20 gr sliders and 3 15 gr rollers
3 19 gr sliders and 3 15 g rrollers
3 20 gr sliders and 3 16 gr rollers
3 19 gr sliders and 3 16 gr rollers
Do you know for every combination, the acceleration time (0 -100 km), and the max speed?

Robert, you've seen the video of 20G sliders/15G rollers so that gives you a reference point...
that combination will do 0-60 in ~9 seconds.
either of the 19 G slider combos will be about 1 second faster to 100kph (60mph)...
all 4 combos will probably top 87mph (my personal max speed on a new low mileage Forza), but the heavier sliders will have a lower rpm shift point rpm at take off and the heavier rollers will have a lower cruise rpm.....
the lighter slider combos will probably take a few seconds longer to reach top speed.
this is all assuming those weight configurations were being tested on the same bike with no other mods.
When I get some Veypor runs for the Forza, the average of many runs will show actual peak torque and peak HP rpm to the rear wheel for the Forza and may indicate the need for a slight tweak in weights for one or the other type to fine tune the curve.

but look at what Ed said about dr pulley slide:
..........I would only use the original 3 OEM Honda sliders, since every time I've used the DR Pulley sliders, they cracked and jammed up the variator, causing it to hang in one gear while shifting....this usually happened after several hours of highway riding.
The DR Pulley sliding weights are excellent but unfortunately, their sliding bearings suck!
Yes, on the DRP sliding bearings, they only seem to hold up well in the DR Pulley variator.
Twice I've tried them on Honda variators and both times they cracked and locked the variator.....
they are made of a different light colored plastic compound that seem harder and less flexible than the Honda bearings. They fit the Honda variator very loosely.
If you're concerned about drag on the stock Honda sliding bearings, you can always touch them up a bit with sand paper to polish the surface and add some clearance.
and then there's the confusion caused by two closely related parts with the same part number.....2418?!

I'll check that in the service manual when I get home this afternoon.
I seem to remember that the variator bolt for the Forza actually used less torque than the variator nut on the older 250cc series.....
the Forza's bolt has much more thread engagement, maybe twice as much as the older threaded shaft with a nut.
