About a year ago this all changed with tire coatings, not dressings. This is a polymer resin that makes the tire look new, not glossy. Water soluble . And it lasts 6 MONTHS. It works great.

Anyone can say polymer, and 'dressing' is a word from our grandparents day to say it soaked in and did something, unlike a coating. For all I know mayonnaise could be a polymer if someone made the claim--it certainly is a dressing.
Anyway, does this expensive stuff work? 3 Amazon reviewers say yes, and they all sound very basic, nothing with credibility, nothing with depth of understanding or length of product usage. I'm all for a forum member with a tip, and I need some new tire clean & shine, just not sold on this yet. Also, the distributor says to use Tar Zero first, which is not sold on Amazon.
A concern is if a product negatively affects my sidewall and I have a blowout, they declare bankruptcy and I'm bankrupt (from medical bills, potentially). Not saying they have a bad product, it could be awesome, I just want to know before buying.
