Re: 2019 model
I haven’t checked with dealer, although nothing was said when they did first service. I am assuming it is normal. Sometimes it will buzz when it feels like it,but normally it is just before abs light goes out, think it’s coming from what looks like an ecu which is situated up by right hand fork,as sta...

Re: Rear suspension question from new owner
Not sure if the stock Forza shocks are adjustable, they might be set up for a more weighty load, the wobble could be the screen you have. If you are worried, I would get a garage to check.

Re: Rear Brake surge
Is your "mechanic" a tyre fitter or a proper mechanic. If he used an air impact wrench on your bike he could have overloaded the bearing, hope not,but if it persists that might be your next port of call

Re: Rear Brake surge
Hmm, given that he didn't clean and lube the pivots,I would be a bit suspicious about his care in the correct torque setting being used when the wheel went back. Hopefully it's just the shoes grabbing, when the shoes are off just make sure the brake lever moves freely,I would remove the adjusting nut...

I wonder if he ever started it? When I ask for help,I am grateful when I receive it,I read so much good advice given freely by the folks on this forum. A thank you and an update would go a long way.

Re: Rear Brake surge
Is it a rhythmic squeak? Put it on the centre stand and get someone to operate the rear brake, and let it go,see if you can pull the brake arm at the wheel any further back,if you can it would suggest that the brake shoes are binding because of a build up of brake dust etc on their pivots. To be hone...

Re: Is it normal for the left brake lever to need more press
Has this extra travel on the rear brake lever appeared just after you had the brakes "flushed"?
if not you could try the rear brake adjuster situated left side of rear wheel,it might just be your rear shoes have worn a bit,and the brake needs adjusting.

Mysterious Honda paint code reasoning
I had reason to check my paint code,(don't ask),it appears that Honda UK bikes have a different shade of the same colour from say Asian supplied bikes. Mine is R369P, theirs is R326C. I can't understand the logic in this,as I think the bikes are made, but not necessarily assembled,in the same country...

I had a k4 brand new in 1972,gold and black , my next new bike was the PCX in 2018,so jealous of how bikes survive in the US,or is it a restoration? Beautiful either way.

Re: From Johor Bahru, Malaysia (15 minutes from Singapore)
Very beautiful pictures of what looks to be an amazing place, I had a nice ride this morning on our own little piece of heaven, the B3306 that skirts the Atlantic between St Just and St Ives. Tailor made for the PCX,loads of twisties, and extremely sharp bends that mean top speed is around 50 mph unle...

Re: Low side crash at 10mph. Anything major to worry about?
Get a straight edge that is long enough to from the stem of your forks to the wrist grip outer edge,or at least in the middle of the bars, measure to the edge of the twist grip, then do the same for the other side. That should at least tell you if one side of your bars has been bent back. If it was a ...

Re: 2013 pcx 150 wont start
Just had a look at the manual (thanks Mel), the engine management light acts as a self diagnostic for the fuel system,it should blink when you turn the ignition on,or if not when you crank the engine for at least 10 seconds. There is also a diagnostic plug situated next to the battery, but you will n...
