YSS G Euro Shocks
I'm ready to order a set of yss g euro shocks. I would like them in red. I was going to order the xxl from biker bitz but they only sell it in chrome. I'm 220lbs and sometimes ride 2 up. The reading I did shows the xxl is suited to me. Powerbypcx have them in red but they only sell xl. I emailed the...

Re: Variator Drive face and pulley
Ok, so I ordered the variator tool off amazon a month ago. It was too big and did not fit. Then I got a smaller tool. It still did not fit. I don't have an angle grinder to make the pins smaller. I'm thinking of copying others on here and using an impacr wrench. Is a electrical impact wrench strong ...

Re: Shad SH40 Cargo?
I have an sh40 on my pcx. I fitted the backrest too. It is solid and have loaded it beyond the specs state, no problems at all. Shad cuatomer service ia terrible though.

Re: It's gone
Thanks, Homie :) I'll need another one, unless the first one miraculously returns in good condition. And stronger anti-theft measures (I'm leaning toward some kind of exploding device, although I'll probably walk until that temptation passes). At least they didn't get my helmet. No exploding device...

Re: Special tool to remove drive pulley
I ended up ordering a cheap Chinese one with two different sizes.
As for the ncy variator. Are the 125s and 150s the same?
One scooter dealer told me its the same part while another told be they are both different.

Yes he means insurance no claims bonus.
Scumbags, I had the same experience to when I lived in England. No one tries that crap now. Not unless they want some 45 Acp.

Spark Plugs
I am preparing for the 5k mile service. The only replacement part is the spark plug. I am assuming it's just the one since it is a single cylinder.
5k miles seems a short life for a spark plug, does it really need replacing?

Who sells the ebc wave rotor and sintered pads?
I am not sure if the euro 125 had the same brake calipers as the 150s. I've found conflicting images of a square brake pad and a regular looking brake pad.

Re: Brake Pads
Surely you can just use a g clamp and xompress the puston on the caliper.
How difficult and time consuming is it to remove the rear wheel. I can do it on a buell ulysses, never done it on a scooter before.

Re: 5000 mile service
Its the brake pads and shoes I am concerned about. The front brake fluid res is close to the low line. However I fitted handlebar risers and adjusted rake of thr handlebars so it is not stock position. It is hard to see how much brake pad is left.

5000 mile service
At the 5000 mile service, did you have to replace anything?
I am just trying to find out prior to doing the service myself.
