Re: Honda PCX 2013 - Changing LED Headlight

I did not use a converter. so does it means that after removing the original headlight bulb, i just need to connect the 3 pins of the LED directly to the original socket like below photo, then it's OK? 1.png I have done exactly that. Changed round connectors to flat ones and they fit original socke...

Re: Dyno Run Pcx 169cc

Another interesting comparison is Yamaha Nmax bbk 180cc dyno test result. Nmax has much better head set up utilising 4v.. go to 10:06 seconds in the video for the dyno graph result https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8ypP35tLbrA Clever design. Everything done with engine still in the frame. Unlike bloody...

Re: Me rollers fu@@ed

I've got 12 miles round trip with maybe 2 miles at 70 mph each way. My pcx is 164 bbk and I don't treat it gently. I'm not sure if I can get NCY kit in UK.

Re: Me rollers fu@@ed

Not good, just not good at all. So what's your next kit going to be? That kit sh*t Still got 3 rollers and 3 sliders from the sets I have mixed up, so for the time being I'm gonna put them on. I think I'll order 12g rollers. Mixing weights might not be a problem but different shapes of rollers and ...

Re: Me rollers fu@@ed

DAHMMMM!!! holms Looks like terrible pub for Dr pulley sliders. Mods might have to take this down. You have to justify this with much more detail like how many hundred miles of service before they look like this o_O It's yuminashi variator with 3x 10g yuminashi rollers which are gone and 3x 13g Dr ...

Just taken my variator apart to see rollers completely gone. Worn out to the metal. Dr pulley sliders bit better but worn out as well. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170511/c7846b46da3aa90d26de1a261aef08d4.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170511/1b6c3cf3040d2c33369b77a37b063736.jpg Sent fr...

Re: Yuminashi 164cc keeps over heating

If you do go with the 150 head make sure to buy a proper 150 head gasket as well. Also check for proper valve and piston clearance to make sure they don't touch. Can't be too careful. There is a yuminashi kit. 150 esp conversion with coolant hoses, domed piston with cut outs for bigger valves and e...

Re: Yuminashi 164cc keeps over heating

going 150 head will give you more power and torque too so id incline and say 150.. but you may have to adjust the fueling litte bit. Dremeling water ports on 125 head is the cheapest option. I was thinking about some dremel work on mine. But if I have to go through all the hassle of removing plasti...

Re: Yuminashi 164cc keeps over heating

So I have put about 500 miles on my 164 kit in my 2011 pcx 125 and it's starting to have some issues. If I run for wide open for longer than a minute or so it will start pushing coolant into the overflow. If I ride slow it won't have an issue just when I am being heavy on the throttle. I have the 1...

Re: Confused about Yuminashi Big Bore Fueling

Hi, I'm a month or so in commuting with my new 125 and am finding it a bit lacking in power. I have a particularly hilly route so have some lighter rollers on order but today I found myself looking enviously at the yuminashi big bore kits. Now, I have fitted big bore kits to 2 strokes before so am ...

Re: Motovlog - Scoot Commute 14 - Indian Summer

Your video really gives a good indication of the acceleration and highway capabilities of the PCX. . .and braking as well in moving traffic. I think 60 MPH (100 KPH) is about what you got it up to? When you got off on the first exit did the suspension bottom out on a bump or was it a pot hole? Eith...

A summer day in February. Who knew? Anyway, it gave me a good opportunity to ride to work. I hope you enjoy my latest Motovlog. It's been a while since my last video, but the weather outside's been frightful. VYpAxbEdvH0 My commute https://youtu.be/l1947PTV0dc Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Re: Givi Screen Fitment

lolofigo, I can't see your image. Are you mentioning the thin rubber trim that goes around the base of the givi screen after it's installed? To finish off the look and close up a bit of the gap? I had used that rubber trim piece on mine when I had that screen installed. Can you try to repost your p...

Re: Givi Screen Fitment

I like your parking area :D A bit OCD for a garage. Full central heating and carpeted out with my PCX standing on a clear plastic carpet protector with a mat for the centre stand matching the one at the external door, as well as the mat leading into the house. Kitchen base units with matching wall ...

Re: i-map injection controĺler v.2

Adam listen carefully! You do no need any map, tune, or ecu. I had a 164cc yuminashi kit with 150cc head on my 125cc and been using a 8 hole low flow injector from yumi and have been going for 2000km + with no problem.. Even better now I have a 175cc BBK with the 150 head and Yuminashi cams and wit...

Yuminashi 164cc kit (125)

Sounds like it would make the little PCX125 a pocket rocket. How many hours does install take for a professional mechanic? Don't know. It took me two days and few beers. I'm amateur and it's taken more time to take plastics off than actual engine work. Have a go yourself and you might learn somethi...

Yuminashi 164cc kit (125)

Can anyone suggest a aftermarket exhaust. No that does not ever need a baffle change. It overheats on WOT if revs go higher when accelerate downhill. It doesn't overheat in traffic or in hot weather. 164 kit does everything on 1/3 throttle that stock would on WOT. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Yuminashi 164cc kit (125)

I am thinking of going with the Yuminashi 164cc kit and running with the stock exhaust. Would this be an OK combination, they suggest aftermarket exhaust but I find the stock PCX exhaust quite good. Not loud at all. http://www.yuminashi.eu/164cc-essentials-kit-pcx125-v1/ Here is the kit, I am think...

Yuminashi 164cc kit (125)

You'll overheat badly with a stock exhaust on a BBK! Oh, the heat that used to come off my radiator when I had a totally stock 150... Re: Tapping noise coming from bottom end of engine

Ok I went to Chiswick Honda main dealer to get #18 and #19 bearings so I can get spare clutch set ready for when my one goes. This is where we've bought two brand new pcxs from and there's quite few Polish mechanics. Spoke to one of them who looked at my video and suggested it is big end crank rod ...
