Re: Video cameras for riding

Wow - I'm really impressed with the quality of the movie clips. Obviously the brilliant sunshine (something absent this year in Britain!) has helped with the quality, but it is at least as good as a Sony videocam I used a year or two ago. Please post a pic of the camera, as I would like to ensure I ...

Re: How to: Valve Adjustment for Honda PCX

Google Translation for above ........ "Hello from the Czech Republic, Adjusting of valves on my scooter, which has traveled 15,000 km. I disconnected the fuel pump, turned the key and the fuel gauge flicker, is that correct? I rolled my starter for 5 seconds and tomorrow throw to adjust valves,...

Re: Handlebar muffs potential dangerous?

I've had this problem too - though to be honest I've not fitted the muffs to my PCX yet, but I have fitted them to several bikes in the past. My workaround is as follows:- Fit one of the muffs and where you would ideally like the muff to stay in place (WITHOUT conflicting with the brake lever) mark ...

Re: What a washout!

Welcome. Don't worry too much about the bad weather, as the guys have said above there is some good motorcycle clothing that will go a long way to keeping you dry. The thingy that fits on your glove and lets you wipe the raindrops from your visor is called a Vee Wipe. I've used one for the past five...

Re: Breakdown cover championship: The AA against the RAC!

Six years ago when I first started riding, I had a rear puncture. I was new to all this so didn't have the knowledge/gear to repair it myself. It took the AA over 4 hours to get to me and take the small bike to the nearest repair shop. I was stuck out on a wild windswept hill with no shelter and now...

Re: New PCX and Brake Fluid Gone Down

Thanks for all the replies. I also remembered that I had repositioned the front brake reservoir/mirror stalk slightly forward to be able to see behind me better. This of course means the fluid level leans forward slightly more .... and appears to drop in the level window (if you see what I mean). I ...

Okay. Will check it out, then get back to the dealer if it is lower than the book says.
Many thanks!

New PCX and Brake Fluid Gone Down

Hi Everyone. Just some advice needed. My PCX has done a couple of hundred miles now, and I've noticed the level of the front brake fluid has gone down to about half way down the window. I'.ve checked this by looking at the first photos I took when I collected the bike My first service is due in abou...

Re: New PCX Owner in Dorset, England

A H1? Cor blimey, I'm not that old!
No, it was one of the last ER5's to be made. Nice enough bike (and much better than it's street cred) but the PCX can do most things much better ..... except the motorway of course.

New PCX Owner in Dorset, England

Hi Everyone. Have just purchased my PCX after trading in a Kawasaki 500. I've had other bigger bikes before and the Honda SH300i scooter, but the price of fuel today means I 've had to limit myself to a very fuel-economic scooter. I've had a Yamaha Vity 125 scooter (similar engine to the Vino 125) b...
