Re: Average age of PCX/Forza owners?
Hey everyone. I never seen this poll but that explains a lot. ha ha ha. I only say this due to the stubbornness of people on this forum to highly modify their bikes. ha ha ha. jk I'm 35 in December. Been riding scooters for over 10 years. Started my Scooter journey in the Honda Ruckus Scene. In betw...

The Honda PCX uses a Stator in conjunction with the Flywheel. This is all behind the radiator.150pcxer wrote:

Re: Is it reasonable to take a PCX on a cross country trip
I noticed when riding at 55 for less than 3 miles, that my seat got pretty warm quickly from the engine, as well as I could feel the plastics in the center (by the filler cap) also getting pretty warm through my riding boots...I took this as a hint to back off and turned off to a side road. That's ...

Hi all, sorry for lack of replies over the past couple of days and thanks for continuing to troubleshoot and advise - in the video, I have the button pressed in the entire time, it is cutting out and restarting itself. I'll try and get a replacement battery to test and run the spark test as suggest...

Re: PCX 125 Died Mid Ride
Lets make something clear since there seems to be confusion: If you are holding the start button and it's cranking, that does not mean its "running." If the bike immediately stops when you release the start button, it's not running at all. You are just cranking the bike on the STATOR. If i...

Re: DEFINITIVE List of Upgrades for Those Wanting MORE Top S
Just ordered the NCY variator from corsportusa.com, will let ya know what happens after i get it installed. Just installed the NCY variator, face, 13g rollers & new belt in mine tonight. Definitely have higher acceleration, but top end seems lower. Tops out at 57ish mph. Is there a break in per...

You are better off using a handheld. 15amps on the small scooter battery might be much. BaoFeng it lol

For $70 you are better off going aftermarket. NCY variator is under $70. Much better than stock.

Re: Want to change Brake fluid on PCX150 2018
Suck out all the old fluid in the reservoir, add new fluid. Open bleeder valve at the Caliper then let it flow thru. Once you go thru 2-3 full reservoirs, tighten the bleeder and your are done.

Re: NCY parts question
You don't need the full NCY kit. Order the variator, drive face and 13 gram rollers. Then go into partzilla.com and look up the clutch bearing in the driven face and order assembly #8. That contains the clutch bearing. Wrong. Variator doesnt have Bearings. What i meant was I dont think he needs the...

Re: Tire recommendation?
Im running City Grip and love them. Of course part of it is bc I went with the bigger size tires. Highly recommend running the 120 front and 140 rear. Do these sizes fit without modification on the 2019 PCX? I did notice the City Grips seems to be narrower compared to the iRCs even at the same size...

Re: ACC 2A stock fuse not large enough?
I would recommend if you MUST, get some alligator clips and go directly on the battery. I wouldnt recommend running it for too long since these batteries are so weak. Maybe run the bike and on the center stand hold it at like 5-6k rpms. Dont just add a bigger fuse. Too much of a risk of frying the w...
