Re: First PCX125 Ride......at last

According to what we see on the news here you've got an orange baboon for a president who can't even speak in coherent sentences? Can't be true surely? DONT!!! They might bring up the utter chimps we have over here. Unlikely they would know about that. You'd be surprised...I watch British mot...

Re: First PCX125 Ride......at last

It's a shame you had to buy stock in security companies, but from what I understand that's the price one pays for owning a vehicle in Britain. Here, I've accidentally left my keys in the scoot overnight and it was still there in the morning. Different worlds I guess. Security not a problem in much ...

been quiet - had some brake issues

howdy folks. Been a while, I know. With work and such I haven't had a whole lot of time to invest in my more enjoyable pursuits. one of the things I've always enjoyed, though, and that I had a chance to do again back in October, is taking longer trips on my scooter. I went up to Dubois PA, about 200...

Re: Extra helmet?

I'm gonna hop on the bandwagon here and add my voice to the "just say no!" crowd. My son used to ride with me when he was small (he's still small, even at 22 years old he's never made it past 5'2", but that's another story), and it was ok because he was light and he followed my direct...

Re: New PCX owner

Hah! Having started out on a scooter, upgraded to a 750 (still had the scooter too), found after four years of riding I like the smaller bikes. Sold the 750, and four years ago sold the kymco 150, and purchased my PCX.

Small bikes are just more fun.

Re: Should I Replace Stock Tires Early?

Dude, I get it completely. That squidgy feel on wet roads is terrifying. My Piaggio has shinko tires on it, and I do not ride it in the rain. do the right thing for yourself and be safe.

Re: How to take the dog along?

I have an "outward hound" pooch pouch for my 12 pound maltese.

they sell them at most of the pet supply stores around here, and you can buy one online.

maggie loves riding with me

Re: Should I Replace Stock Tires Early?

It really comes down to your preference. If you don't like the way the tires feel in the rain, it's not a very expensive thing to fix. tires for the PCX only run about 50 bucks a piece, plus mounting and balancing. If you're not comfortable riding in the rain with the tires you have now, don't wait ...

Re: Michellin pilotstreet

the key with mounting any directional tire is to check each individual tire prior to mounting. it may seem tedious, but it's the safest way. better to be cautious, than to make a mistake based on an assumption.

Happy Independence day

So I went for a little ride, recorded a little message. Disclaimer, there are brief mentions of my faith in the video, if you are easily offended by such things, you are not required to watch, and I will not entertain conversation of the subject matter here. This is just my personal 4th of July gree...

Re: Starting age

I was 33 when I bought my first scooter, but my first experience with scooters was in college, when I was 19. A buddy had an old Honda Aero 50. it topped out at 25mph, but it was a blast to ride even so. I got my own scooter when the gas prices hit $3 a gallon here back in 2008. That was a Yamaha Vi...

Re: new motovlog: First in quite a while

Thanks folks. Glad you enjoyed the vid. Kram, I am currently using a Sena Prism Tube, and there is video below. You'll notice the sound on the un-boxing vid is a bit raspy. I wrapped the microphone with some cotton quilting batting, which reduced that feedback quite a bit. I use whichever video edit...

Re: Heat

it's a liquid cooled 150 with a whole bunch of bodywork over the engine, it's also under the rider instead slightly to the front. Any heat is negligible, though on a very hot day, it's bad enough dealing with the reflected heat from the road surface.

new motovlog: First in quite a while

So I went for a ride yesterday after it cooled down a bit. It was crazy hot yesteday, but after 8 pm as the sun was waning in its daily arc, the temperature dropped enough so I could breathe. So I charged my camera and went for a ride.

Trying to get back into the vid biz.

Things are going well here. I have been told I have a job at a local car dealer. They want me but need to figure out which department to put me in. So i'm still running Uber and making the occasional video. It is too hot to ride at present, so I went out and took pictures of my neighbor's bike so I ...

I ride a lot of back roads also and have no complaints with my Michelin City Grips.

Recomend you upgrade your shocks though, and beef up the contents of your front forks.

Heheh, the pumpkin for a top case sounds funny. I may do that. The orange on the scoot is decal material. I cut it to fit.
