Re: Good to ride again
I was pleased and pleasantly surprised when I went to see my doctor. He had heard about conflict with the PA, and it seems that others have complained too. So he saw me in person and we decided that when the time is right, weather wise, we will sit down and work on lowering my meds on MY time table...

At Last, Back With My Original Username
At last after nearly driving Dave mad, he has been able to link my old username to my account.
Thank you Dave for all your help, I had a real problem not being able to refer to old posts and PM's. Being a hoarder and more than somewhat ADD my past matters to me.

I try to be perfect, sometimes I just end up being a perfect a***hole. But at least an a***hole with a sense of justice.

I've known those inconsiderate fools to come out of the restaurant to find flat tyres. I know that might affect other handicapped people temporarily, but it may also teach the fool a lesson.

I used to have a neighbour across the road who loved lightning, same as me. One night we were both standing outside under our porches calling out to each other in a storm when a bolt of lightning struck the road between our houses, that cured us.

The pain never goes away completely, but time will lessen it. You will always have great memories of the good times to help you along the way.
Take care,
John.

With fireworks going off until 3 am on New Year's Eve, we closed up the house and tried to keep our dogs calm. Even last night was not free of the fireworks that are frightening to dogs in general, and especially to dogs that are sensitive. We have a cat who loves thunder and lightning. He has cove...

Yes, if I recall correctly the seasons are opposite there, so you are getting summer about now. It felt a bit strange when I was down there, but enjoyable. We were about to head into the ice (Antarctica). Mel, you probably saw Antarctica at it's best, as the glaciers are melting at an incredible pa...

Raining here, but hot and humid. Tropical storms on their way and my PCX is fretting because it hasn't been ridden for a while. Welcome to sunny Queensland.

Surprising the different ways we ride, I prefer holding the bars on the very ends, feels more comfortable.

[quote="Old Grinner"][quote] Damn. . .at least back in the 60's, 70's and 80's all you had to pretty much worry about were drivers under the influence or just plain stupid people. But since the advent and huge distribution of cell phones chatting or texting while driving has gotten to anot...

You're not alone Mel, we lost a pet cat years ago and for months after he was gone I would occasionally feel him jump on my bed after I turned the lights out. It was as real as when he was alive.
