Honda tall windshield, Honda top box, NCY variator and face with 13gram rollers, LED headlamps & taillight with, Backoff indicator
Kawell rectangular lights-fork, mounted
Cheeky Seats seat cover (de-humped), YSS PDC and front spring upgrade 15W fork fluid, YSS rear spring/damper upgrade-preload adjustable only, lots of reflective tape and other accessories

1969 Honda K50 mini trail (first bike, still runs great and in the family)
1975 Honda CB125
1978 Yamaha DT400 (bored 2 stroke insanity)
1986 Kawasaki Ninja 250r

Two things looking at those:
People often find with stock bars the mirrors show their shoulders not the traffic behind - with these they are even closer together and how can that be comfortable with your arms bent inwards and hands at an angle to use these?

Scott, why narrower? And why change your stock bars to similar, like you've linked us to? I'm just nosey/curious :oops: Are the stock uncomfortable?
I'm not against change and I love bike accessories and upgrades (but did more of that years back), so rock the stock to whatever floats yer scoot...just make sure it Fits and is Secure. Think Safety 8)

Actually my inner geek was showing. Comfort is not an issue for me at all. A narrower silhouette would aid in even better fuel economy. On the highway I always try to keep my hands as near to the inside as possible. I have a mirror extension on the left side and have the right just collecting dust. So there you have it! :D

Surprising the different ways we ride, I prefer holding the bars on the very ends, feels more comfortable.

Understood John! I hold them in to reduce drag. Albeit not a whole lot, admittadly. But with such small displacement it all helps. Cheers!

I have the tall Givi windshield which diverts the wind away from my hands, so the OEM handlebar is fine. My gas miles have not suffered at all. In fact, it improved.

Still, to each their own. If you want the narrow handlebar, go for it. If it doesn't work out you can always go back to the OEM one.

Thanks Mel. Yes, I have the tall OEM one and my fuel economy is definitely excellent. I noticed in the near freezing temps that the wimd definitely hits my hands much less when I grip toward the inside. It's silly I admit but it may help eek out a fraction better. :D
