Love the look of custom seats on here, and although it'd be great to splash out on one with the additional padding, I went for a cheaper and immediate option for now in case this is all temporary. It's made for hotter climates than England to let the air flow and might not be ideal for me next winter if I still need it, but I've used it twice and the spongy mesh padding works really well. At 8000 miles, the PCX seat felt like it has no padding whatsoever, but I don't know if it ever really did in teh first place and maybe I'm just feeling older.
£27 delivered. 100% Polyester mesh, about 2cm thick, that's meant to be waterproof, but can't imagine leaving it on in the worst of the English weather. The straps connect with velcro which is almost fully overlapped with no further room to pull in these pics. I'll probably pull the straps even further together so that they don't show as much, but will need to stitch in some additional velcro, which is a bit of a pain.
How does it look? Am I now "diaper-man"?
