Well, I heard the noise when the bike had 7,000 miles but until it reached 10,000 miles we didn't do much more than keep asking the service department what that noise was. Finally, the mechanic called the other mechanics and they all agreed that there was definitely something wrong. Others may not make it that long, but then at 10,000 miles the bearings were completely shot on our bike, so I wouldn't wait that long if I were you.

I doubt that it will take the mechanic an hour to do it.

My rear wheel makes a noise when turned or I am wheeling the bike - until the cluthc engages. Not as bad as some but noticeable. Passed it's MOT though as it's not part of the checks, but they may get fussy about bearings and the wheels/safety.

Hard to sell any vehicle when it is "making a funny noise".
Any local scooter guys / shops that could swap out this part for you?

That's it, I keep one on hand just in case but obviously not all are bad or going bad. There's a new part number for after 13's and it hasn't been established yet if the old part# fits newer PCX. I think you can get 1200.00 There was once a guy who offered one for 800 but he looks crazy

Never saw one that low.

You did the labor yourself last time you had a bad one didn't you? Did you grease it up per the instructions?

I ask because I wonder if they put the 7 grams of grease these things require prior to installation. They are not plug and play out of the box and the bearings are not dry but still not per the SM
