Hello fellow owners and riders!
Around 1 week ago I snagged a great deal on a 2011 pcx. The previous owner rode it 40mi then low speed dumped it, got scared, garaged it for a couple years, where I picked it up. I guess my 2011 is a non-esp according to one thread using air boxes to figure out which PCX i have. So far I am up to 220mi on the odometer. Break in miles are slow and almost painful. (HAHA) Anyways, it's a great scoot so far. Smooth, calm and stable. I have figured out that the variators are all interchangeable; what I do not know about are exhaust options. Scooterworks offers an NCY exhaust, I'm not sure if it will fit or not. My goal is a good cruiser not a rocketship. I have a Zuma 125 for play time. Any info and advice on ownership of a 125-non esp is appreciated.
Thanks,
Tbonestone

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your new PCX.
I'd check out the Performance subforum and search for "exhaust" there. There are a lot of options.

Re: New owner to the PCX world
Welcome to the forum! Exhaust? I picked up my Malossi exhaust at scooterpartsco.com.
Plan to use it as a cruiser? The bike is amazing for this, however if you get a sore bottom, consider an Airhawk seat cushion. I have about 20,000km on mine, done 600km rides and all I can say is it is worth the investment.

Happiness is two wheels and a full tank of gas!

Re: New owner to the PCX world
Thank you for the tips.
I did remove the seat hump, but it still manages to hurt my butt after a while.
Until I can replace the seat, I'm heading on down to the performance section to browse
