Antifreeze

I have searched the site and the net and cannot find much information on this topic.

All I can find is that the antifreeze needed for the Forza is one that is a phosphate- and silicate-free formula and compatible with aluminum engines.

Peak Long Life 50/50 seems to fit the bill. It is a phosphate- and silicate-free formula and says it can be used in all engines, including motorcycle engines from all makes and models.

Site here:

My bike need topping off. I will thinking of using this. Good idea or not?

Thanks

John

Are you really sure it needs topping up? Is it likely to freeze even if you use a twickle amount of water?

You are going to need such small amounts for topping off. Why worry over it? Just go to the Honda shop and buy a bottle of the right stuff to begin with.

If its below the minimum level and needs coolant, there's a leak.
Get it looked at under warranty.

Thanks

It was full, in fact, over filled. Hard to tell, unless you are shining a light from above the cap into it.

Is it like the PCX perhaps, as if I remember correctly, someone suggested it shows the level better if the steering it hard over to the left such as when locked. I may have this wrong.

You need something else to worry about.

Have you checked your tyre pressures

It's a start....
