Better mirrors from Honda

I was staring at my son's 2014 CB500X.....his mirrors look just like my Forza's...but have a longer stem. With a tape I measured that his mirror is the same length as is my mirror with the added/ugly extenders.
This morning I ordered a set of his mirrors.

I've suggested that before.

Good tip. Let us know if they fit OK

Interesting. There are also some cool replacement mirrors for the 2014 CB500X if they fit well.

The Forza is "sport" style for Japan, the short WS and naked handlebars give this fact away{plus they call it Forza Si over there}. Sports often have shorter and/or smaller mirrors. They look good but mirrors are for safety not style!

My Burgman 400 is a Type S and has a similar sport styling{short WS and naked HB} and it had short mirrors! They were the same mirrors used on the regular version except they had a shorter stem{and were chrome instead of black}. I had a nice view of my elbows but not much of the road. Needless to say I bought a set of mirrors off ebay and they work much better. Fitting mirrors is easy unless you have a Yamaha as they use a different size and one side is LHT and the other is RHT.

Good explanation for the PCX and Forza features.

Anyone have any suggestions for replacing my PCX (2015) mirrors? Like everyone else here it seems, they give me a great view of my shoulders.

I get half a mirror's rear view :) - but sticking with that due to filtering in the city (london). Any more width and filtering would be tricky with buses/lorries either side.

I ride in London as well. But I still need a bit more view behind me on the right hand side.

Usefully, the human neck can turn around so that the eyes can look behind.

Excellent! I've now removed all the mirrors from my car and bike and rely solely on shoulder checking! Great advice and SO much safer when dealing with high speeds, traffic, and especially both at the same time!

Just wanted to say thanks for this great tip. I ordered some up from my dealer (same price as I could find them online, minus the shipping and the wait time) and they had them for me the next morning. Rode up with a couple wrenches under the seat, swapped them out in the parking lot, and enjoyed the enhanced view for the ride back home... :D

Did you do that a year ago and if so, how has it worked out?
Do you drive your car in London?
Is your neck human or super-human?

Had the same issue with the Burgman 400.
Found perfect matching chrome extender pieces for the stems from UK motorcycle dealer.
Added about 2" to the stem....and road appeared rather than mine powerful upper arms!:-)
Just think better than Chinese stuff from ebay that matches nothing .

If anyone is curious, there is a picture of the stock Forza mirror and the CB mirror lying next to each other in this post:
