Motorcycle Tour Company using Scooters

Post by MikeP »

I had a thought. I know there are some companies that do guided motorcycle tours using 250cc Virago's, 650cc Honda's and even some larger bikes.
Has anyone ever heard of guided tours using perhaps 150cc PCX, 300cc Forza and perhaps similar bikes?
Thanks for your thoughts. :D

Maybe in one of the European or Asian countries(Thailand, Vietnam, etc).

I haven't seen as much of a draw towards maxi scooters in the states, or even on this island where it would make sense(zero need for touring capability).

Though this is not a traditional touring company where you have a lead rider bringing you on a tour of an extended geographic area, here on the Gulf Coast I know that New Orleans has a few scooter rental places. I've walked by one a few years ago in the Quarter and spoke to one of their reps, seems to be a really cool way to experience the city. In this setting you would want to get a tour map and just scoot around to your destinations.

Don't know how much good this does you in B.C.

I know it's not quite what you were looking for.
I think with scooters you're going to find many opportunities to explore cities or small islands and things of that nature. Self-guided tours. Long distance touring companies would be cool though, surely something is out there.

Let us know if you find anything....
