drop scooter for first time on the right side

Post by dog64bull »

So I approached a stop sign kind of fast and I braked a little hard and the bike fell. It wasn't really hard. Just a little fall. now I'm worried about the bike. my question is: After you get done riding for awhile and you go park it back at the house, is the right, rear side of the bike suppose to make a ticking sound where the exhaust is at?

I think every vehicle I own does that as the muffler or catalytic converter cool off.

By the way, if you damaged any plastic, fear not. Replacement body parts are incredibly cheap at the Honda dealer, and come pre-painted.

Different coefficients of contraction of the differing metal alloys used in the manufacture of your bike.

Different metals get smaller at different rate as they cool. Tick not bad. Tick simple physics.

Spare Honda plastic isn't cheap here in the UK. Honda dealers aren't very welcoming here either.

Make sure you check your oil just in case any spilled out when the bike fell.
