Never heard it. With the bike off, and on the stand, see if you can replicate it and pinpoint the source. Handgrip? Throttle body? etc.

It only happens when the engine is running.

Understood. That would seem to indicate to me that it's not an issue with the mechanical linkage i.e. the grip or throttle cable or throttle body housing.

you don't think its any remnant of the funky engine shut off feature that was disabled for US models do ya?

Outlander if you are not familiar, apparently we have most if not all the bits of an energy saving system that when you turn throttle the PCX would fire up automatically, that had to be electrical but I never hear anything clicking. Outrageous right? after a few seconds idling the PCX shuts down the engine then with a turn of the throttle it starts up again.

I mean you could be sitting on your scoot talking to a pedestrian in stand by mode and forget, ten minutes later you turn the throttle only to blast off!

Did anyone ever figure this one out? I have a 2015 US model pcx and I get the same thing, a click every time I engage the throttle when the bike is running

Wonder if there is a relay involved in that circuit - and some are noisy. Not got the service manual to hand to check.

Is the teeny click making any difference to the use of your bike?
