Just a quick intro and a few mostly unimportant facts about me. I live in sunny Queensland, Australia and recently retired at age 72. In August this year I won a Sim 50cc scooter at my local club, rode it for 3 days and decided it was dangerous after riding up a hill at 40kph with a local bus sitting up my clacker. In that short time I got hooked on riding once again after a 30 year absence (previous bike a Honda ST70). One week later I went for my bike licence which I took on a Honda Deo 110cc. I passed it in one day and started looking for a larger cc Honda as I was impressed with the Deo but wanted a bit more power, that lead me to the PCX150. I wasn't even aware the 2015 model had just been released but that's what I own now. A brilliant machine and I take it for a run every day and can't stop smiling and looking forward to many kilometres of happy riding. I'm mounting a Sony HDR AS100V today and will post a short movie soon.
Congratulations!!!! you just made the 22nd member in this forum to buy a 2015 PCX150. I dub the proud member of the new generation PCX PARADE WOOT! You can certainly out run the bus now... AWESOME
oh yea... you will go gaga over aftermarket BLING but not even the venders have posted compatibility to earlier models. Almost every aspect of the body has been redesigned in the 2015PCX's and we are the first run. So please let us know your experience good or bad. As for mine at 1400 miles... all is well.
Welcome, You will discover a lot of good Posts on this Forum and it will be fun to hear from a friend in Australia. So keep your Clacker right side up!
Welcome to the forum. What a great story of another 'senior' rider getting hooked on the PCX.
"Clacker" ... I know a few Aussies and heaven't heard that one. I am so going to steal that word and use it.

Thanks all for the kind words and for giving me a hard time, I'm known for leading with my chin.
I'll be posting two videos tomorrow, just a trip round the block. The camera vibrates a lot so I've now added a helmet mount for future videos. Not much finesse in the editing (actually none), so forgive my first amateur effort as I've never uploaded video to Youtube before.
The roads around here are a bit rough and my clacker certainly gets a workout when the scoot bottoms out.
Just so long as you aren't mounting the camera to your clacker, you should be okay.

My videos are now up on Youtube. If you have a spare hour or so you can watch both. Apologies for the quality, but at least you can get an idea of my local area north of Brisbane, Queensland.
Your in Brisbane. I have family there. My cousin has an exhaust place at Sumner Park. Mr Muffler I think it's called.
Never been but wouldn't mind going. It's the 24 hr flight that would kill me.
Always wondered about the sights and sounds down under. I get queasy driving on the left side of the road. I do hear the clacker now and then... I do hear that.

Very familiar with Mr Mufflers, they are one of the better muffler businesses in Brissy.
It's a long time in a plane but hopefully you would find it worthwhile, I believe it's one of the better places on earth
