engine codes? :?
any gy6 exhaust(or any other exhaust for that matter) can fit on a pcx, I have an atv exhaust on mine  ,
but it will need to be welded on and some sort of bracket/hanger should be figured out.
I know you're all about the bling... many of the gy6 exhausts (ebay etc.) are plenty blingy and cheap :)
here is one. $80 ebay...

Yeah that will work... gy6 150 headpipes are a bigger diameter than the pcx 125/150.
So you will have to just weld the two headpipes together. 8)

To sound stupid... What's s headpipe? Can i just cut the two pipes (say jusy by the reducer bit and weld them together?

headpipe aka header is the pipe that goes from the muffler to the engine head.

so you would need to use your stock headpipe(most of it anyway) and attach the new exhaust(with a little bit of the new headpipe) together.

here is mine with almost all of the stock headpipe welded to the new exhaust(which only had about a inch of headpipe on it).
your just connecting pipes together... where exactly ? I don't know? what ever looks best.

you would most likely have to cut the new pipe around this area.
hope that makes sense.

Ah ok i see now! so i can do as you did and cut at the bulge in the end of the header pipe as you did. Do you know the dia of the standard pipe?

I think i may also have to make some kind of bracket up too?

Nice Rukus / PCX hybrid there! :)

yeah mount the exhaust first wherever you like, then figure out how you're going to join the two pipes together.
the new headpipe should be slightly bigger diameter than the stock one so you may not need a reducer.
the bulge on the new one is definitely bigger than the stock headpipe so that should work also.
yeah do it like mine, that may end up being the best way???

Not sure what to make of this thread...

There is no way I would order a new pipe ($) that doesn't fit the PCX and cobble it together on a brand new bike.
IF you insist on swapping out the muffler, order one that is made for it.

FYI..
The GY6 is (or was) the designation for Honda's 150 cc 4 stroke of old and has now been "reengineered" or cloned by the Chinese and many others.
It is not the stock Ruckus engine. That's a 49cc GET engine.
The GY6 is a popular swap due to the abundance of these GY6 motors in all the knock off scoots from the last 8 years or so.

If the OP doesn't know what a headpipe is, he may not possess the skills to pull this off.. even if it was a good idea.

Just my .02c

You're right i don't know it by that name, i'm more used to cars where you have a manifold, downpipe, centre section and backbox. I would be having someone do it for me with my direction as i don't know how to weld. I will consider saving for a full system though, that way i know it wont (shouldn't) break

Someone posted this Leo Vince for 150.00 from this distributor. I would imagine they would ship to the UK.

Search for PCX if the link below doesn't work correctly.

I don't really do colonial currency or colloquialisms but isn't two cents $0.02? Or were you talking about two hundredth of a centigrade?
