I loved the glitchiness throughout GTA4. At first it pissed me off because it took away from the game, but then it was just funny... That game had so much wasted potential.
The Isle of Man TT races are legendary for the high speeds and spills(a few fatal over the years). I was lucky enough to go there last year when Guy Martin had a rather nasty "off" at over 120mph he was the luckiest, jammiest bloke alive and survived relatively unscathed considering where and how fast.
There's an interesting page at Wikipedia which lists the fatalities on the IoM Mountain Course. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sn ... _accidents
It is extremely unusual for a TT to finish without at least one fatality.
It's almost a nail-on certainty that each year at least one rider will be killed.
since 1911 the course has claimed the lives of 237 competitors.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong
John Mcguinness who i spoke to at the MCN excel bike show is a famous TT big winner, the biggest winner is the late Joey Dunlop which i assume is Michael Dunlops father
Id love to watch this in real life. Its a suicide sport i think.
Anyone who has a PS2 still could play this-
wish they could make a new version for PC and the new consoles
No, not for the faint of heart. I almost wet my pants just watching it. Boy that's a dangerous race. Buildings, trees, curbs, almost no chance if they go down. They've got a lot bigger balls than me. Very scary.
When I was younger we often went to the flat track races, and in fact I raced some, but the bikes back then were nothing compared to the super bikes today. Heck, I was happy when my bike would hit 135 mph on a straightaway. Now you have supercharged bikes, and that monster, the Hayabusa. My bike was 1000 cc's but I bet that bike couldn't get near the ones today. I am glad I lived long enough to learn that speed kills. Boy, that TT is a killer!
