Help! Forza 350 won’t start, although battery is fine and everything lights up nicely. Traced to the side stand sensor - AA chap wiggled it, it started once then died again.
After a flatbed ride home, the 350 is now in pieces - I’ve taken off enough body panels (most of them!) to get to the side stand and wiring. I can’t get it going; I’ve tried the sensor off the stand in the ‘up’ position and simply splicing the two wires - no joy either way. The wire disappears into a wiring loom that is a mass of electrical tape. It doesn’t look as simple as ‘unplug one sensor, plug in a new one’.
Can anyone give any advice as to how to replace the whole side stand sensor unit? I’ve searched for online workshop manuals with no success.
