2019 & 2020 Maintenance Intervals

New to this form and appreciate some help. I bought a new 2020 PCX 150 and it is fantastic to ride. As you all likely know first maintenance is at 600 miles. I am there after two weeks of use. I set up an appointment and dealer told me they need to do valve check with $450 USD estimate. I checked the owner's manual and it has no valve check at 600 miles. Scheduled maintenance includes valve check at 4000 miles and every 4000 miles after that. Am I missing something? I read PCX manuals from 2018 and earlier and it did have valve checks at 600 miles, then at 2500 miles and every 2500 miles after that. I feel like dealer is simply not looking at newer manual requiring me unnecessarily check valves at 600 miles. Thank you for your help.

Follow the owners manual. You'll save a bundle if you are handy........ to do the other recommended service yourself.
This advice applies if you live in the USA. Other countries "may" require service by Dealer to keep warranty in effect??

I will follow the manual and show the dealer no valve check needed until 4000 miles. Thank you very much. I will do the basic maintenance for sure. Have a great day. Yes absolutely love how smooth the PCX is on the road. Huge smile every time.
