Hello guys!

Post by jrewillis »

Hey people. I've just agreed to take delivery of a brand new Honda PCX 125 in a gorgeous red colour.

Can't wait to get out and enjoy my commute free of a car once again.

Any tips that people would give for a first time PCX owner?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the group. You might find the mirrors are in too close. A used eb*y set from a cb500 will cure that. For more details on this just do a search on “mirrors “. Also if you want more room to stretch out, pop off the beauty plugs so you can loosen the handlebar bolts and rotate it forward. Then rotate the brake levers & master cylinder back to get them level again. You can easily gain 3”-4” of additional reach doing this.

A windshield would be a good thing to have since you live where it rains a bit... speaking of, please go into your profile and add your general location, since this is an international forum.

Must be different on a PCX. On a Forza you can rotate the handlbars up, but brakes/reservoirs are "pinned" to a position on the bars - no rotating.

Bummer, can holes, etc for a new pinning be made? The PCX attachment is via simple compression clamps/bolts.
