I just take mine to the flat fix guy in my neighborhood, and never had a problem. As long as you line up the red dot with the valve stem, chances are it won't even balancing. It costs me $10.

For other service I can recommend NY Motorcycle in Queens Village.


This guy makes balancing look easy...betcha it is ;)

On my last Honda scoot (a 1980 C70 Passport Super Cub), the 2.25-17 Michelin Gazelle front tire would only last about 2,500-3,000 miles due to cupping. This was due to a bad front shock. Since the tires were only $22 (2006 price, & I could change those tires myself) & a replacement shock cartridge was $105, I replaced tires.
