Now I can take my Honda for a walk just like a Segway
This takes a lot of battery to balance if the motors not running but I sure do like the idea. The second you get on the seat it would have to disabled but DAHAM this is clever stuff from our friends in Japan.

Have you tried a Segway? They are hilarious.

Re: Take a look at this.
Yep I road a Segway XT model named Dalila through 3 sets of batteries over 6 years around town without incident or accident. Dalila served me well for fun and errands but batteries are 2k each time the L-ions deteriorated. You get about 2-3 years out of a set of batts and that's in 4 season climate, much less if year round action. I would still have the Segway but resale was too tempting and lean-steer capable technology had replaced this 2nd Gen model by then. So Dalila and I parted ways as the retail price went up on Segway to 7-8000.00WhiteNoise wrote:He once had one

Re: Take a look at this.
I love the idea of the bike following me. I could get it out of the basement or she'd fairly easily that way. Right now, trying to get the bike out of its parking space is difficult since I actually have to sit on it to guide it, and the space it is in is tight, so I just add to that tightness by being on it. If I walk beside it trying to get it out the door it can't be done. With that one I could lead it to where I want it to park or to where I want to get on to it. I wonder if it would help keep my wife from falling off of it at stop signs...usually where there is gravel on the ground close by, like at 4 way stops.

They are expensive. I check out the prices every so often and just can push myself to do it. Especially as I'd need two.
