I am thinking about putting the stock back tyre (100 wide) to the front and bin the front one.
and put a 120 wide to the back.
or, 110 to front & 120 to back
or, 110 to front & 130 to back
which combination is the best for PCX 150?
Thank you.
Tyre change, help needed for these options.

Re: Tyre change, help needed for these options.
I read a few threads here, where 120/140 combination are installed.
Isn't it too wide?
Isn't it too wide?

Hi Dole,
If you've read thoses threads its up to you to decide if it will be too wide or not. No one can agree on this...
Homie and Kramnala happily run the 120 and 140 tyres. Homie used a spacer on the rear hugger to get clearance.
Whatever you do, never put a rear tyre on the front!

so, when I buy new tyre, do I need to inquire the buyer about the difference?
Re: Tyre change, help needed for these options.
For street use there can be differences from front to back even if they look mostly the same.
You'll have to tell the seller which size you want in the front and rear and they'll get it in for you.

Tyres for bikes and scooters can be either "front" or "rear" or "universal".doletotodole wrote: by which you mean, there is a big difference between front and back tyre.

Tyres which are marked as front or rear should only ever be used on the wheel specified.
This is because of the internal construction of the tyre.
Universal tyres can be used on either wheel but the direction of rotation may be different depending on which wheel it is mounted on.
When buying tyres, get the correct sizes and fitments as recommended by the manufacturer and you can't go wrong.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong
