Manual

Post by Sandymay »

I can only find a 2010 manual on line. How much difference is there between the 2010 PCX and the 2016-17. Will reading the 2010 manual be useful? I'm a complete newbie.

Thanks!

There is a difference between the pre 2014 PCX and the newer ones, but if you are talking about the owners manual there are only a few differences, some of which are enough to make you want the newer manual, like how to set the clock.
If you are talking about a service manual, THAT is definitely different. The bike was redesigned in 2014, with little changes here and there to present.
So the question is, which manual?
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Owners manual first....I want to get acquainted with the bike before I actually ride one....good to know there is only a few differences.....I do want a service manual too, after I own the bike.....I found the service manual online at http://www.repairmanual.com/. They do not have the 2017 yet (of course) but I'm sure they will sometime next year.

Thanks for your help.
