2011-2013 Honda Oem tall windscreen

Post by Tipover »

I installed my Honda windscreen last night. I like it alot! A taller windscreen is a must have accessory. I rode about 40 miles today on mostly highway, 50 Mph zones. It is about 46°F and damp, a little windy too. I felt pretty good. It seemed like the bike likes it too. :D

I found it on ebay. I paid 175 for it with free shipping. I think there is another on ebay from a different seller who wants 250. I was going to get the Givi, but I really wanted the Honda one. (It is probably made by Givi, It is made in Italy.) The design differs in that the front is open. I think this prevents a vacuum effect of some windscreens. It is also very quiet.

The installation was very easy. Two brackets to relocate the mirrors. A small black visor panel attached with adhesive backing to the cowl. Two brackets attached to the windscreen. Bolt on windscreen to bike. Adjust mirrors for clearance to screen. All the hardware and brackets are included.

Thanks!

I have the Givi windshield so I am not use to seeing one where the bolts are visible, but then that may just be the Honda way. If it works, that is the important part. It does make riding much more enjoyable, and with it on you can ride while it is windy and a bit cool. Nice choice of accessory.
