Fuel overflow?

Post by Cracksta »

hi guys,

Just wanted to check, the area under the fuel cap, is that some sort of fuel overflow?

was in a rush to refuel, then the petrol spewed out but in the area outside of the fuel, kind of like a hole. It seems to have dried by the time I got home.

Just hope it didnt drip to the floor lol

Your bike will be fine, it has a drain tube for any overflow that leads out the bottom from around the fuel cap. :D

No, any fuel you spill onto the tank either goes on the deck or evapourates.

Below shows the fuel drain hose routing, to make it abundantly clear that the fuel pours on the ground, and that you don't have to worry about it getting on your bike. ;)
