I went for a ride last week with my buddies from tech school for one last time. Graduation was on the 30th, and it took me a bit to get this edited. around the 6 or 7 minute mark I scraped my tailpipe. Scared the crap out of me.

Congratulations.. Making a commitment and following through to completion is always gratifying . Most of all working at something you enjoy is just icing on the cake. As many bikes that are out there these days, hopefully there will be plenty of opportunity for you.. Hope you do well. !! good luck !!

Congrats! Going back to school is a significant challenge. I did it with two kids in tow during my early 30's, but the reward was well worth it. I have always felt that we waste education on the young, they just don't appreciate the opportunity they have while they are in school, and I was no different at that age.

Re: New Vlog - Graduation Ride
I know exactly what you mean. I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with my life until I was in my 30s, thus I stayed in the military. It felt like home and I was progressing up the ranks, but I knew that I was meant to do more than that.
I was taking college classes while in the military but it was almost impossible to do with my work shifts being so heavy. The Coast Guard was short handed at the time, so many of the personnel were pulling double shifts. The Coast Guard isn't like many other branches in that they are always short of people and yet have to be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week and are usually out rescuing people most of that time, so I was really working 86 hours a week, with very little spare time.
Eventually I realized that what I really wanted to do was there all the time. I wanted to finish college. I left the service and went back to school full time, and I haven't regretted it. It just took me a lot of years to realize what I wanted.
Congrats to you for pursuing your goal and finishing your schooling.

Re: New Vlog - Graduation Ride
Thanks all for the kind words, and thank you Mel for your service to the good ol' U.S. of A.. The Coast Guard gets a bit overlooked when we talk about the military, but you guys have some of the most dangerous jobs in the armed forces. The main four branches, they generally do battle with human beings. The Coast Guard often battles nature. You sir, are my hero.
