New 2011 PCX for $2,499

So I was surfing the inventory of one of my local dealers and was surprised to see this new 2011 PCX. I check this dealers inventory online every couple months and have never seen it before so I wonder where it came from - perhaps they found a time machine?

Don't get too excited, it's only a 125cc, and the tyres have probably turned into crayons.
They also have a red 2011 125 with 374 miles on it.

My guess is it's new old stock. But it's nowhere near worth that much. As chicaboo suggested, the original tires may be useless at this point, then there's the question of dry rot on other rubber parts, the degradation of fluids over time, etc. unless the dealer is very good and went over the machine methodically, including the replacement of oils, brake fluids, and coolant, I would suggest running the other way.

Besides all of that, dealers should now be selling the "old" 2013 pcx 150s for around that price. The 2016 models should be in showrooms.

Dealer I get my bike serviced from, has never "heard of keyless" PCX's. Seemed shocked when I sent him proof via Facebook

The condition of the tires greatly would depend on where the bike was kept. Outside? Inside? Humid? Dry? So on. Look at the tire. Study it. If it looks good, it's been well kept and, for me at least, it's OK.

Yeah I was actually checking to see if any 2017's had arrived yet since Honda has had them on their website for awhile now. I would think $1,999 would be a better price - maybe even less cuz the front tire looks like it's been dipped in doggie doodoo

I noticed that red one too - it's also a recent addition to their inventory - I wonder if it was a demo or something for another dealer (that had the new white one too) and it went out of business and this dealer snatched them both up? Just wild speculation on my part.

2011's should be cheap-er more like give-aways. Dealers have 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016 and now 2017.
Advice to dealers, have a blow out sale! Get those original's on the road before they die from loneliness.
Poor things. White will turn grey, then to black. Them tires tell secrets.

P.S. Interested in a 2011? Inspect. Take a knee down, head underside and check the center stand mounting point. Flashlight is your friend. See anything odd? Cracked? Yes?

Yep, hence the word "may", just the same, there's a decent chance they have the beginnings of cracks between the tread.
