Don't be telling my Doctor! Just got a warning to watch carbs and sugar. My weight's fine but I've inherited desire's for desserts. Yikes! Am I doomed?

Re: Seafoam
Ethanol sucks. Specifically it sucks water out of the air and into fuel. It's also corrosive. I'd like to take some seafoam and mix it with some gas in a glass jar to see how it behaves. Some fuel additives don't really mix with the fuel and just go straight to the bottom of the tank. They don't bond with the fuel to eliminate the ethanol and water content, they remain separate from it.

Re: Seafoam
I too picked up some Sea Foam on sale. I use it in everything I own with an engine except for my car, which never sits long enough to need it.

Re: Seafoam
Hmmmm, maybe I will have to look for some of that if I buy a bike as it will be sitting for months at a time while I am back in Thailand.
Only 5 more sleeps until we are headed back to see the kids (but in particular, our grandson ) ... and maybe buy a scooter. Will it be a Forza? A Silver Wing? A Yamaha Majesty? Maybe nothing if the price isn't right.

Re: Seafoam
May I humbly suggest a Burgman 400--more power than a Forza, easier to maintain and better mpg than a Majesty.kramnala58 wrote:Hmmmm, maybe I will have to look for some of that if I buy a bike as it will be sitting for months at a time while I am back in Thailand.

Re: Seafoam
Sure you can do that kram. Just put 2 ozs. into your "full tank" of petrol. Take a brief ride to mix and you're set to Go.
Enjoy your visit esp with yer little fella,...bring yer running shoes
Good luck finding and buying the Bike that you want at a good discounted/sale price.
