US Top Gear

Post by TC3 »

Just been watching my first ever one. How boring are they! They came to UK to test a Morgan. FFS they made some real daft jokes about UK... Wifey is American and got up and turned tv of.
So is it true that British top gear humour is not understood in U S A? Or is it just a handful that don't get it?

American Top Gear is rubbish. I don't know a single person who likes it -- it's awful.

BBC's Top Gear on the other hand is a work of art. I absolutely love it. I appreciate the humor and mood of the show far better than the US version; the US version seems to target morons. It makes me pissed that they even dare to call the American show Top Gear, it's an abomination.
