Super New Product !

this pic better work !

As every diligent new member should, i have tried to read all the posts pertaining to my PCX. One common theme I keep seeing is people saying how useless the parking brake is, especially when driving off and leaving it on. The parking brake has two uses, one to hold the scooter still when needing both both hands to light a cigarette at a stop light, and secondly to hold the scooter in place when parking on an incline....both on the sidestand and on the center stand. This video demonstrates what happens when the parking brake is not set (yes , in a car)

When a car is at a stop there is a pencil sized pin called a park pawl that holds the vehicle...one tap and away she goes with no park brake applied. Same as a scooter, one tap and away she goes...which is why i like to use the brake.
With this super new product, i clip it on the park brake lever to remind me i left it on. i also clip it on the front brake disc lock on my motorcycle...same purpose.
Warning !!! Do not clip it on your wifes shoelace, belt loop or nose ring to keep from forgetting them.

Holy smoke she was quick on her feet, that could have gone poorly. The heals, the skirt the limited area to escape. She has a guardian angel for sure. The fact that the door was in play and there was a little up-skirt action at the end is nothing to what could have been fatal like in the Mel Gibson movie 'Signs'

I guess the man thinks she's Ok so hes off to help the car.

Even with that system of yours in place one can still forget to release the brake--I speak from experience. I have caught myself several times starting to back away from a wall or a curb only to be stopped by my disc lock. Yes, I had put the lock on the disc and attached a cord from the lock to my right brake lever. But I completely overlooked this reminder and if I hadn't had to back the bike away from an obstruction--like a parking curb or the wall of a building--and thus gotten stopped dead in the process by the lock hitting the forks, I would have fired up the engine and twisted the throttle--and wrecked my disc at the least and maybe my forks and who knows what else? This is why I have learned to NEVER use the disc lock unless I am so parked that I can't just twist and go, but have to back the bike up a few feet. If I park in the open, I forget about locking it up at the disc.
