First 600 mile service...

Post by Tbone4855 »

Hey everyone. I am so grateful I found this forum. Man I love my Forza. I just took it in today for the first 600 mile service. Katy called me and said it was done. I went to pick it up and man, she wanted to roll. :( Unfortunately I had to return to work. But I am off tomorrow and the weekend and I am going to roll. at least tomorrow. lol. Have fun and be safe everyone.

Good for you, TBone.

Have fun and welcome to the forum. Should be warming up nicely over there in Baton Rouge, so you probably won't need to pack your heated jacket liner and long undies. :D

Whats the going rate for the dealer to do this?
In the past I have always serviced my own bikes. But I'll defer service to Honda while under warranty.

Dealer charges vary a lot.
Mine usually charges around £120 and provides a loan bike.

120 quid for the first 1,000 km service, which is basically an oil/filter change?
And why would you need a loan bike :?

Mine cost about $40 and was finished in about an hour. :D

If done properly it's a lot more than an oil and filter check.
Loan bike so that I don't have to wait around for it to be done.
Things may be cheaper where you are, but I prefer life here.
