New owner

Post by myvision »

Hello all.
I'm a new owner of a 2013 PCX 125 I needed something to get across London on and the PCX was recommended. I got a cracking deal on a local bike that looks a bit neglected as it has been left out uncovered has anyone any tips on cleaning the plastics and all the other bits? The plastics appear a bit faded so I would like to get the shine back into them.
Also can someone recommend a taller screen as on the A12 it gets quite windy!!

Thanks

I use Novus #1 plastic cleaner and polish. It works great for making the plastic look nice, as well as protects it. I also have a Givi tall windshield, as do many of the riders on this forum. It is the tallest one Givi makes for the 2013 model. It's number is 323DT. Here is a link. I am not sure if they ship to England, but I am sure there are European dealers, since GIVI is an Italian manufacturer.

Two steps: a finishing polish and any good sealant. See what your local auto parts store recommends.
Meguires is a great brand avail everywhere, their 205 polish and NXT sealant will work well.
