Re: Samsung Smart Windshield
That is flippin awesome. I'd take one if it was given to me. TBH though, I get the same out of a RAM mount with my cell phone in it.

Only question is: a horrendously bad idea or a completely fucking mental idea?

I would like more of a heads up display in the visor like a fighter pilot but this is interesting that Samsung enters the motorcycle accessory industry.

Re: Samsung Smart Windshield
I think it is interesting. I like the heads up display but I don't know how it would work in the daylight. I also wonder about how it connects into the onboard display. It would be nice if it gave the rider more information than the present dash does, for example it might have a tachometer and a compass or GPS.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Why would I want to know which knob end was trying to call me when I'm on a bike?

My biggest concern would be the glare TBH. I'm a myope, so glare and I don't get along so well.Mel46 wrote:I think it is interesting. Re: Samsung Smart Windshield
If you are a techy this is cool and will get everyone's attention curbside at the gathering hole for sure, but how does this mechanically fit into all the windshield cavities or is it specific to each bike make or do they make this universal. Very few details on the mechanics at this point. Maybe I'm a little slow but my guess is that the phone gets the signal through cell towers and then via blue tooth the phone relays to the windshield screen with the details. What does this do that a cell phone mounted on the handle bars doesn't. Bigger screen ? Nicer display? Bigger GPS maps ?? Commercial says Wi Fi..?? where is wi fi in the country ?
