When do you fill up your PCX150? (2013)
So, supposedly the tank of my 2013 PCX holds 1.6 gallons. The digital gas guage seems to run to "empty" (or near empty, "one bar") - and the most I've been able to put int it is 1.1 gallons.
So, I have (approx) a whole half gallon of room left, which begs the question, how far do you let your (13) PCX150 go before refuelling?

Re: When do you fill up your PCX150? (2013)
We have run ours to the point where it was blinking for 10 miles, and still 7t was not completely empty. The closest we have come to empty was to a point where it should have been empty but wasn't. I think we had 158 miles on the tank. I would not want to push it that far again 8r I might literally be pushing it to a gas station. When we go for really long rides I try to remember to bring our 1 liter gas can with us, just in case. My wife does not mind pushing it, but when I see the gauge blinking I start looking for a station. The key is to look for it flashing on the last bar. It can sit on the bar for quite some time before it starts blinking. Several people on this forum have pushed theirs to empty just to see how far they could go on a tank. Honda says 144 miles. I have obviously pressed it beyond that.

I think Honda has an annoying habit of being overly pessimistic on their fuel gauge readings.
My CB300F has a tank capacity of 3.4 gallons, but every time I fill up on the last bar, I'm only able to put in about 2.1-2.2 gallons. Manual says if it starts blinking on the last bar, I've got about .67 gallons left. I'd say in most cases, you could probably run it longer than you think.

I fill it up when I get over 100 miles on the tank. That way, if we want to go for an extended ride, we don't have to hit a station first.
On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

When the gauge hits about 3 bars I'm on my way to the fuel station.

When you are down to one solid bar, you have 40 miles left to travel. When that last bar starts blinking, you have apx 20 miles. I drove my tank to EMPTY one time. During the refill ( after walking the scooter to the gas station), i got 1.65 gallons into the tank.... filled to the brim. Mine is a 2013. I get 100mpg.

I wait till the last bar starts blinking and usually put in about 1.35 gallons or so. That's 0.25 gallon left so about 20 miles left in the tank.

OK, the info on "how much gas is left" when that last bar is blinking is helpful. First time it happened to me, I panicked and then... yeah, plenty of gas left. So, I think for my own needs, I'll treat the blinking single bar like I do when my minivan does the same thing-- "I'll fill up tomorrow on the way to work". :-)

Re: When do you fill up your PCX150? (2013)
I confirm this on 2015 PCX... I remember my thread on this when I road with a can of fuel strapped to the passenger seat. However after 20+ miles beyond the last blinking bar I added fuel because there was discussion of damage to the fuel injection system by running it completely dry. This possible damage was confirmed by my personal auto mechanic as something you should not do on purpose. But he is an auto mechanic so who knows.yak wrote:When you are down to one solid bar, you have 40 miles left to travel. When that last bar starts blinking, you have apx 20 miles. Your filling up more often than you need to, so why?

I rarely go on trips that are less then 30miles each way, I like a full tank, not like it costs the earth to fill up is it?you you wrote:

Does the last bar in the PCX blink when it becomes desperately empty (but not completely) like in the CBR?
