Need this part.

Post by Seph »

Hey, I've posted a couple of things about my recent spill. had some amazing support finding parts online. But for the life of me I cannot find the "catch" for the glove box. I'm pretty sure mine fell off road side. (might go searching).
If anyone knows where I can find one please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Is that a pcx or a Forza? On the 2015 pcx you could go to bikebandit.com and look it up in their microfiche. I think it is in the area call 'inner cover' under the Body & Fender section. You have to have a good eye to catch the little part itself, but good luck.

I think that would be Part number 81142-K01-901
Its number 9 in this diagram: http://www.seadooparts1st.com/oemparts/ ... nner-cover
Its common to other scooters and widely available: https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=81142-K01-901
Or just get one from your local Honda dealer.

Make sure it hasn't lodged deep down in the glove box, it happened to me.

I've searched, I remember seeing it and pushing it back in. could be inside the bike. could be roadside. who knows. Either way it'll probably be broken.
cheers

If you can find it there is a good chance it's not broken. It clips on and will pop off under pressure.
