Fuel consumption meter in 2015s

Post by dkazzed »

Honda Canada lists fuel consumption meters as one of the options in the multi information display, not sure about other markets. How accurate is this? Does it display in L/100km?

AFAIK like the one on the Forza it does km/l and l/100km and is very accurate.

Does it give readings in real units for those of us who don't fool with the metric system?

Lol. Does the US model have the fuel consumption meter?

Though most of the world has adopted the metric system, it seems like the British are still very much a miles and (imperial) gallon culture. In Canada, anyone educated in the 70s or earlier will prefer to speak in Fahrenheit, miles, and (imperial) gallons. But young and old, feet, inches, and pounds are still the dominating units. Litres and grams are preferred over ounces unless you're measuring the weight of a newborn baby, and tell me an engine size in cubic inches and I'll return a blank stare. It's a weird hybrid system.

The UK uses a mix of metric and imperial.
Fuel is sold in litres but road distances are counted in miles.
Milk is sold in litres but beer is sold in pints.
