If you have to ask why, then you wouldn't understand
Remove what ever panels are in the CBS components way( sorry I don't have stock panels so I can't help there).
Then just unbolt the cbs unit, 2 brake cables and the hoses/brake line for the cbs reservoir and the center piston on the front brake caliper.
Throw all that crap out and then replace with a long 1 piece rear brake cable...
I use a gy6 150 cable and I think it is about 80 inches long. or just use what ever brake cable you can find with the right length and ends.
hope these pics I found can help explain it.
it's as easy as that.

Re: CBS Removal
I think I found out an easier way and easy to remove with only exchange the screw for a longer one maybe min 50 mm and so you can block the pistol and if you want remove everytime in 5 minutes and it's cheap to screws you found everywhere. watch out the pic if you exchange mark the original screw and count the spins if you take out so it's easy to get back to original for sale or whatever. I will test it tomorrow but looks good must bye the screw I need. I tell it works or not. Thanks dasshreddar!! Yesterday I put off the windshild... for take a look and clean so I test it only with hand but I think it would work.
