New Guy In Town
Hello everyone , First time posting on any forum so take it easy on me. Been riding motorcycles for over 47 Years too many bikes to list, Last bike was 2002 HD Electra Glide Classic was getting to heavy to push around so I just sold in September. Well I went into withdraw and couldn't handle being without a bike ( It was only two weeks ) So I bought a new 2013 Black PCX150 and so far I'am having a blast buzzing around and buying goodies for it. Also I have found a ton of information here thanks to all the members here. I will try to upload some pictures. Thanks for having me here. Steve

Hate to say it but nice looking Classic. I'd lose the tassels
Quite fancy an Electra glide. Kind of a bucket thing
Can't be as much fun as a scooter?

Weighed in at about 850 lbs. was like a toy once it started to roll at about 5 mph but moving it around was the problem (Old Body ) enjoy it for 12 years have to know when to say good bye. Never dump a motorcycle in 47 years of riding . Was great bike. Thanks Steve

Re: New Guy In Town
I have had Harleys in my life, but nowhere near as many as you, or as beautiful as that Electra Glide. I saw one of those yesterday while in traffice. The guy had LED lights all over it that changed colors. It was like a chrome billboard. It was beautiful, but I'm not too sure about those lights.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150
Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Re: New Guy In Town
Whoa! Hi Steve, that's some big mother Harley A Beauty & dressed to kill (as the saying goes).
I have to agree that as we age, that 600 or 800lb. bike gets awkward in a couple of ways. Just moving it about could spell trouble in a brief moment. My heavyweights were sold as well. No regrets. Can always be bought again on a dumb day
So.....I say, Good Decision, Smart Decision! Getting older is suppose to make us wiser It's Working fer Ya! Congrats on buying the PCX, a fun little scoot that will get you where you want to go and let the breeze still flow through yer hair(s). You won't lose your Smile either
Win/Win!
Okay, now the duplicating post problem. Let's fix that heh? Here's one way to go about posting to a thread. Pay attention now, and if Ya can't, go right ahead and print this (haha! .... "I" would!)
1) Ya must be Signed In, so Log In
2) When you want to reply to a thread, Click the "Post Reply" button at the "bottom left" of any page
3) Now you will see a Big White Message Box with emoticon smiley's to the left, etc.
4) Go ahead now and type what you want in that box. You can also add a smiley, youtube, photo, etc. at this time. But, that might be another lesson. You just want to reply now
5) When you are done writing, click the "preview button" (just below the box), so you can proofread your material, fix mistakes, or add to it. When you are Happy with your speech, proceed and...
6) click the "submit button" right next to that "preview button" and........
7) BOOM!! MAGIC!! The screen will change, and you will see your entry on "that" thread. Viola!!
oh no...Wait! If you should Still see an error in your writing or want to add more, Click the Edit button on your post, and it will give you that opportunity.
I think I'm done here If you have any questions...feel free to "Fire Away, Fire Away!"
(Remember you can print this)

Re: New Guy In Town
Thanks to all. It was hard saying good by it was a Great Bike but the time has come. Funny thing was I use to ride with a beanie helmet now I have a full face Hi-Viz helmet & jacket to be seen. With the Electra Glide every one seen me ! If I had a dollar for every one in front of me dropping their cell phones to the floor or putting on their seat belt I be a rich man. The first thing I had to do to the PCX was put a tall windshield on, The wind & noise was more than I was use to. Thanks Again Steve
